All across the nation, people will be celebrating Thanksgiving 2014 this week. For most of us that means turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie and time spent with family. There’s certainly nothing wrong with tradition but sometimes we can get so wrapped up in it that we forget to actually be thankful. Thanks and giving always go together. The more thankful we are, the more we give. Giving is a natural expression of our gratitude.
Never Settle was born out of hearts of gratitude. We realized we have been given much living in a country where wealth flows freely. Even America’s poor are rich in the eyes of most of the world. We have access to as much clean water as we want, most of us live in nice houses and we attend some of the best educational facilities available in our world today. The only difference between us and people in Haiti or Cambodia, is opportunity. We were born on the right side of the water. And because we have been given much, much is required.
So this week we are especially thankful for all of our loyal supporters and donors to Never Settle. We make sure we express our gratitude through emails, phone calls and hand written notes. Without your sacrifice and compassionate hearts we would not be able to continue to make a difference in the lives of others around the globe. Your giving makes real world change happen.
